The Filter and Drain Path
The cylindrical filter in the base of a Bosch dishwasher is the first thing to check for almost any complaint about cleaning or drainage. Food debris collects there and restricts flow. Twist it out, rinse it under the tap, and check the sump area for debris every week or two. A blocked filter or a kinked drain hose is behind many faults that owners fear are more serious.

Understanding E15 and the Aquastop
The E15 fault is the one Bosch owners meet most. It means water has collected in the base tray and the AquaStop float has tripped to protect against a leak. Often the water is from a small, slow leak or a spill, and tilting the machine to drain the tray and drying it clears the code. If E15 returns, there is an active leak that needs a technician to find and seal. E24 points to a drain problem, E22 to the filter or drain, and E09 to the heating element. Loading and Drying
Load so the spray arms turn freely, scrape rather than pre-rinse, and keep rinse aid topped up so the CrystalDry or PureDry system can do its work. Overloading and skipping rinse aid are the two most common reasons for complaints about drying that are not actually faults.
